Today, the Union Cabinet has approved the digital data protection bill. The bill is designed to protect the data of Indian citizens. It will be tabled during the monsoon session for parliamentary approval. As an internet user, your personal data is collected, sorted, and used by apps and websites you use and visit. If not protected by law, this data could be misused by businesses. To prevent data misuse, and offer citizens resolution in case of breaches this law was necessary.
